Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Certificate Installation
Please note that
you only need to install this if it is your first time using the
secure site. Also note that since the secure server uses encryption/decryption
of information as it is being
transferred, there is an extra processing time required when files are transferring
and this will slow things by a few percent. Unless you really need
the extra security, you shouldn't use it. Normal http connection
is still very safe and secure
and faster then SSL or https connection.
Here is what you need to install the SSL Certificate for secure file
transfer and connection via SSL encryption.
1. Under the login form click on Switch to SSL mode or go to https://secure.i2drive.com
If this is your first time using the secure site you will be prompted
with the security alert. Click on View Certificate button.
2. Click on Install Certificate and follow the instruction. When you're done
you can click on the Yes button of the above security alert. Again you only
need to do this if its your first time accessing the secure site.
next time you will not be shown the alert and you go to the secure
site directly.
